Q: Will my heavy duty Singer sewing machine work to sew fur?
A: Although your standard sewing machine may work, the stitches may not hold as well, especially in thicker type animal leather like beaver. We have a mid-1900s sewing machine specifically for sewing fur. Our machine came from a fur shop in Detroit, Michigan.
Q: What kind of liners do you use?
A: For hats, we usually use polar-fleece but 100% wool is also an option. All mittens get 100% wool liners.
